The need
People seeking asylum have no guarantee of safety. They’ve fled war and persecution, only to face a complicated - and often cruel - path to permanent protection in Australia.

The Refugee Advice & Casework Service is a nonprofit providing the one form of help that can give refugees and people seeking asylum lasting safety: legal help. We:
Provide trauma-informed legal advice and information for all people seeking asylum
Guide people through the protection process and help them understand their rights
Advocate for fairer and more humane asylum policies at the national and international level
