NETWORKS
We continue to work closely with a broad network of legal and inter-agency support services, including the following organisations:
- the Red Cross;
- Amnesty International;
-
the Asylum Seekers Centre (ASC);
-
the House of Welcome;
-
the Service for the Treatment and Rehabilitation of Torture and Trauma Survivors (STARTTS);
-
the Legal Aid Commission of NSW;
-
Immigration Advice and Rights Centre (IARC);
-
the National Council of Churches; and
-
the Refugee Council of Australia (RCOA).
RACS' involvement with these organisations - which are similarly committed to assisting asylum seekers - together with private law firms who provide RACS with pro bono assistance, is critical to our information sharing and support base.
