NETWORKS

We continue to work closely with a broad network of legal and inter-agency support services, including the following organisations:
  • the Red Cross;

  • Amnesty International;

  • the Asylum Seekers Centre (ASC);

  • the House of Welcome;

  • the Service for the Treatment and Rehabilitation of Torture and Trauma Survivors (STARTTS);

  • the Legal Aid Commission of NSW;

  • Immigration Advice and Rights Centre (IARC);

  • the National Council of Churches; and

  • the Refugee Council of Australia (RCOA).
RACS' involvement with these organisations - which are similarly committed to assisting asylum seekers - together with private law firms who provide RACS with pro bono assistance, is critical to our information sharing and support base.
